About Me

I’m a mom, under renovations.

More specifically, I’m a 40-something former Hudson-hopper (NYC-NJ) journalist, now a full time Jersey mom, minimalist, organizer and writer with an itch to help other moms refine their personal spaces for greater efficiency and peace of mind. Sharing all I’ve learned through our townhouse renovation and quest for more intentional living through simple home hacks. MORE

That’s all I’m saying... if you’re not watching stories, you’ll miss some really great design & declutter inspo!
If the rooms you currently have serve your life well, you don’t really need more space.
A good bin hides a multitude of unsightly keeps! In this case, my sons old schoolwork, Halloween costume, and camp stuff only used in summer.
Tell your belongings where to live and you’ll automatically have a lot less clutter to deal with!
Where are you going when this dismal pandemic period is over? I’m headed to my two favorite cities- the one across the ocean and the one around the corner!
Stop taking your decorating so seriously. Have some fun. Reflect the people who live there.
My best holiday home advice - clean your own bedroom first! The rest of the house may get hectic and messy during the holidays, but you'll feel calmer knowing that you have a sanctuary of sorts to rest (hide?) in when it's finally your time to relax.
If you stopped thinking about it, I’m willing to bet that it’s either unnecessary or not a perfect fit.
Kids’ room decor is a funny thing. You know that one day they'll grow out of their nursery, but you design it meticulously and those early baby days seem endless...
I’d always hated this plate. As a writer, the misplaced space in "I' msick" made me nuts, yet it hung conspicuously above my grandma's countertop anyway...
